Linda M. Stephens

Born and raised on a farm in rural Ohio, I would often gaze up at the sky on a clear cloudless night and marvel at the sheer immensity of the universe. Seeing the vast number of stars visible in the night sky it was only a matter of time before my imagination started filling the stars with other races. I wrote my first science fiction story while I was still in elementary school and since then I have been hooked on science fiction and fantasy.

My parents were a big influence on my life, teaching me, by example, about perseverance and hard work. They also made sure I developed self-reliance and encouraged me in all my dreams and endeavors. In order to stand out among 4 other brothers and sisters; I left Ohio to go to college in Florida on an Army ROTC scholarship.

During my college years I learned much from the ROTC program and continued my interest in science fiction and fantasy, becoming involved in the Florida Institute of Technology Society for Science Fiction and Fantasy. I also met my future husband, Bryan, while attending FIT.

I believe that helping to found a new company and taking a hand in controlling my own future was inevitable given my upbringing. Our first project, Ace of Angels, reminds me of the wonder of a sky full of stars. Now if our users can be as numerous as the stars this will be a dream come true!!
