This documentation is for beginners that have begun to play Ace Of Angels tm and would like a text documentation of the controls and basic information without having to access it through the game. This guide was based upon the original read me supplied with the game but will have hints and tips added to it along with any other suggestions that seem fitting.

The controls to Ace Of Angels are kind of a task when first starting but you will soon be able to control them with ease depending on your ability to adapt quickly.
Quit Ace of Angels – [Alt Q] –Psst… Don’t do this bad idea J
To chat or communicate, use:
Open chat interface – [Insert]
Open Last Used Personal, Team Chat – [Delete]
***When not in mouse mode you may either click on a players name or your frequency number to open a separate chat window to***
A] Player – Private Messaging
B] Frequency Number – Current team only
Controlling the Crafts:
Forward Thrust – [W]
Reverse Thrust – [S]
Vector Brake – [X]
Rotate Right (Roll) – [E]
Rotate Left (Roll) – [Q]
Fire of Primary Weapons – [Spacebar]
Fire missiles – [M]
Firing Mode (Combined or Random) – [Z]
Override Speed Control – [Tab]
***To toggle between mouse and keyboard mode use Ctrl+M to switch back and forth. While in mouse mode use the move the mouse to free look and the Mouse 1 button to fire primary weapons and Mouse 2 button to fire missiles***
Targeting of Allies/Hostile (Enemies):
Select the target under the reticle – [Y]
Select the nearest hostile ship – [G]
Cycle through all hostiles – [H]
Cycle through all allies – [L]
Make Current Target Hostile – [Ctrl+H]
Make Current Target Ally – [Ctrl+L]
Other Commands while in Chat Mode:
In the chat window do not use the [ ]’s
/newship – List possible ships of which you can select.
/newship [Ship Name] also partial names will also work.
/join [team number] – Join current team (must be invited by wing leader first)
/invite [player name] – Wing leader command to invite other players onto your frequency.
Other Windows – (Windows can be moved with the mouse but cannot be moved while in mouse mode)
Weapons Console – [Alt+W]
Key config – [Alt+K] (Use Ctrl+Shift+F1 to save)
System Management – [Alt+S]
Damage Console – [Alt+D] with the mouse click on the R shown to next to the part to repair)
User List – [Alt+U]
Toggle Chat Window – [Alt+C]
Target Windows – [Alt+ 1 or 2 or 3] Depending on which you would like to deactivate or reactivate.
